Most of our Walkability projects have been oriented towards identifying issues, improving infrastructure or developing programs that encourage more physical activity related to walking and cycling. Infrastructure projects include an initial walkability audit to identify issues and to generate a vision for how the area will look when improvements are implemented. This picture shows participants in a Nevada City Walkability Audit. Instructor Ryan Snyder is preparing the group to develop new ideas for York Street.

2010 – Nevada City Downtown – A workshop was held to identify ways to make it easier and safer to walk in the shopping district.
