There Internet offers so many recipes and so much information……..it is easy to get sucked into the rabbit hole depending on what it is your are searching. For me it often has to do with FOOD and simple seasonal recipes that appeal to children.
One of the blogs I love to read features both recipes as well as lots of visual eye candy of beautiful bits of life. I recently came upon a post that featured a friend and fellow chef, Leif Hedendal. He shared a simple recipe for a summer soup using just a few ingredients. I wanted to share this today because it is the perfect way to use a basket of cherry tomatoes and a blender, your kids can make this on their own! Get ready, here it is:
Simple recipe for summer? Blend a basket of cherry tomatoes with the seeds of one vanilla bean and a little salt for a simple, unique soup.
So hauntingly simple. Go to the garden, grab those tomatoes and BLEND! I Love the simple transformation of ingredients to a meal.
