Food Love Farm Camp is the tastiest camp in town!  This camp is designed to encourage children to feel and understand their connection to themselves, their community, the Earth, and the food they eat.  Throughout the week, kids will learn about food, farming, and the environment by engaging in activities related to our daily theme.  Campers will spend each morning helping with farm chores, harvesting produce, and preparing lunch together.  Each afternoon we will share a farm-fresh meal, followed by a nature-inspired craft or game.  This camp is kept small to encourage campers and staff to create a community-like environment and to ensure each child feels fully involved in daily farm life.  We hope that kids who attend camp will come home excited to share healthy recipes and habits for maintaining wellness, as well as feeling inspired to participate in our local food system and our community!

Age:  6 to 11
Group Size:
limited to 23 campers
Hours:  9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday
Registration: $395/week

Junior Camp Counselor
Age: 11 to 14
Group Size:  limited to 3 jr. counselors
Hours:  9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday
Registration: $100/week

Camp counselors participate as leaders in camp activities. It is an excellent opportunity to learn by guiding younger campers through the projects and lead by example. This is perfect for campers who are aging out of the program but would still really love to learn and grow more.

Scholarships are available for July and August camp sessions! Please click here if you would like to apply for a Food Love Farm Summer Camp scholarship.

Summer Camp will begin at 9 am each day. Feel free to drop your child off between 8:45 and 9:00. We have lots of activities planned for each day – crafts, games, farm chores, and exploration – making sure we schedule some relaxing time and plenty of water games, too. Camp will finish at 2:45 every day. Please pick your child up before 3 pm, and make sure you communicate with us if someone other than yourself will be picking your child up. There will be a sign-in/out form at the entrance to the farm – please make sure to check in every day!

Things to Bring

Please make sure your child has a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat each day. We have drinking water available to fill up water bottles.

Each day, campers will rotate “Lunch Crew” duties:  harvesting produce and preparing lunch for the group.  This lunch will be a simple, vegetarian, farm-fresh meal, prepared in our solar oven!  Our lunch menus this year will include rice/bean/veggie tacos, zucchini lasagna, veggie frittata, spring rolls, tamales, and roasted veggies.  Lunch Crew will also prepare a fresh salad with each meal.  We will encourage all campers to be adventurous in their eating while on the farm, but we also understand that kids have food restrictions and preferences.  If your child has an allergy or food restriction, or you feel they might not be interested in our farm lunch, you are welcome to send them to camp with additional food for lunchtime.

Camp will be held in compliance with any applicable county social distancing measures for the duration of each camp in 2022.
