Food Love Farm Camp is the tastiest camp in town! This camp is designed to encourage children to feel and understand their connection to themselves, their community, the Earth, and the food they eat. Throughout the week, kids will learn about food, farming, and the environment by engaging in activities related to our daily theme. Campers will spend each morning helping with farm chores, harvesting produce, and preparing lunch together. Each afternoon we will share a farm-fresh meal, followed by a nature-inspired craft or game. This camp is kept small to encourage campers and staff to create a community-like environment and to ensure each child feels fully involved in daily farm life. Don’t be suprised when kids who attend camp come home excited to share their love of a new fresh veggie they love, or healthy recipes and habits for maintaining wellness! In addition to sharing a love for fresh, healthy food, we hope to inspire campers to participate in our local food system and community!

Farm Lunch
Lunch will be a simple, vegetarian, farm-fresh meal, prepared in our solar oven! Our lunch menus this year will include rice/bean/veggie tacos, zucchini lasagna, veggie frittata, spring rolls, tamales, and roasted veggies, and a fresh salad with each meal. We encourage all campers to be adventurous in their eating while on the farm, but we also understand that kids have food restrictions and preferences. If your child has an allergy or food restriction, or you feel they might not be interested in our farm lunch, you are welcome to send them to camp with additional food for lunchtime.
What to Bring
Please make sure your child has a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat each day. We have drinking water available to fill up water bottles.
