Briarpatch Co-op Cooking Classes: Oaxacan Province Flavors and Mexican Delights

After a month in Mexico, Kayla has returned with her new favorite recipes and of course a story or two! Recipes will include unique and different Mexican dishes found in the Oaxaca province that aren’t typically found in the United States. These include Tlayuda, a large crepe-like dish filled with beans, lettuces, special salsas and Queso de OaxacaAguacate Relleno – stuffed vegetarian and meat avocados baked to deliciousness and served with tops (house-made tortilla chips!), and the classic Mexican taco served with various salsas, cabbage, meat and vegetables. Leave with your belly full and a new perspective on traditional Mexican Cuisine.

SEVERAL PRICE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE. We have two options for Cooking Class registration, General Admission is $35, the price is $45 for our Benefactor Level (Benefactors support our Kitchen Kindness tickets!).
