Briarpatch Co-op Cooking Classes: Wild & Traditional Indigenous Harvest
APRIL 25TH 6:00-8:00PM
With Sara Raskie and Tony Cervantes
Let’s take a step back from the today’s common approach to food and reflect upon and celebrate the bounty Nature offers us. We will focus on using nuts, squash, corn, wild greens and acorns to make a Pozole Squash Soup, Fir Tip Pesto, Manzanita Crackers, Squash Candy, and Acorn & Seed Energy Snacks. Come join us as we also discuss our relationship with food medicine and our interconnection with Nature and the seasons.
