Briarpatch Co-op Cooking Classes: Fish 3 Ways

With Kayla Wexelberg

In this class we will explore three different ways to cook and prepare fish. The first dish will be a simple yet tasty miso-rubbed, toasted sesame oil salmon served with fresh squeezed lemon. The second fish will either be cod or sole that has been dipped and battered in a gluten-free herb crust and then lightly pan fried and served with a homemade parsley tartar sauce. Finally, we will bake a whole trout that has been rubbed with Vietnamese spices such as lemongrass, ginger, turmeric and galangal root, then served in a light coconut broth. These three methods will definitely demystify cooking with fish, a light and healthy protein, and also add zest to your meal! It’s bound to be a lovely evening with a delicious and enjoyable meal at the end of the class.
