Briarpatch Co-op Cooking Classes: International Appetizers
The holiday season will be here shortly, so now is a great time to explore something new for your next gathering. We’ll take our inspiration from several countries, including France, Japan, India, Italy, and the Middle East with these delectable appetizers. Class is hands-on and will feature: Roasted Red Bell Pepper Bruschetta, Savory Samosas (potato filled pastry), Gyoza (pork filled dumplings), and Tapenade (olive and anchovy dip).
New teacher – Mayumi is passionate about food and truly enjoys working with people to help them find their “inner chef.” She has been in the food industry for over 17 years, is a certified-fitness nutritionist, and was the director for Shallots Cooking School (inside Nugget Market in Vacaville) for seven years. Mayumi owns Fork & Knife Creations, where she offers in-home cooking classes along with fitness and nutrition advice tailored to her client’s specific needs.
