BriarPatch Cooking Class: The Alchemy of Chocolate
FEBRUARY 5, 6-8PM
with Deanna Figueira
The Aztecs believed cacao seeds were the gift of Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom, and were valued so highly that they were used as currency. Tonight we’ll celebrate the enduring allure of chocolate as we make a selection of delicious and nutritious sweets, perhaps inspiring you to recreate Valentine treats for the special people in your life! Savor these wonderful creations paired with fruit and cheeses: Spicy Mayan Truffles, Dark Chocolate-Dipped Coconut Decadence (mmm, good!), Peanut Butter Bombs, and Raw Cacao Vitality. Life is sweet, share it with a friend! Gluten-free, Vegan
