Stone’s Throw Farm Potluck – September 5th

Steven and Bryanna - Stone Throw's farm 2019Stone’s Throw Farm

Meet Bryanna and Steven Eisenhut, owners of Stone’s Throw Farm out in Colfax for a magical evening on  this thriving little farm on Thursday, Sept. 5th!

Stone’s Throw Farm, a certified organic farm, was founded in 2015 just 4 days after their first child was born.  By staying small and local, they are nimble to their customers, climate and its changes, and are able to flex out the possibilities of all four seasons.

They harvest about 12 to 15 different varieties of vegetables from the fields at any given time year-round and send them to the local restaurants, groceries, Tahoe Food Hub- a food distributor for the Tahoe area focused on local, and Auburn Farmers’ Market. They also grow a wide range of flowers which they sell at BriarPatch Food Co-op and the Farmers’ Market. And, since they aren’t already busy enough, they host two Airbnb spaces on the farm!
