Join Sierra Harvest on April 9th from 8:30am – 12:30pm at the Food Love Project (16200 Lake Vera Purdon Road, Nevada City) for a terrific workshop for classroom teachers, garden coordinators, parent volunteers and anyone wanting to teach kids in a garden setting!

Join experienced garden educators for a morning of garden education and inspiration!  Learn to use the garden to breathe life into standards-based lessons, promote ecological literacy, encourage healthy eating, and support students’ social development.

Participate in hands-on lessons linked with common core standards, practice basic gardening techniques and develop management strategies for a school garden program.
