Good Food Tour at Legacy Ranching, October 5, 2017

Come join us for a virtual tour of Sierra Harvest and then stay for a Sierra Harvest farm potluck at Legacy Ranching!

Our Good Food Tour starts at 4:45, where you’ll learn how Sierra Harvest programs:

-empower community members to grow their own food

-support farmers and ranchers to be successful in sustainable agriculture.

Learn about important local food issues in Nevada County and share your comments and feedback with us. This is a free event, and you will not be asked to make a financial contribution.

Join us on October 5, 2017, 4:45 – 5:30pm at Legacy Ranching, located at Elster Ranch, 12499 Elster Place, Grass Valley, CA 95949.  From Nevada City, take Highway 49 south and exit Highway 20 west (Marysville/Yuba City).  Take the first exit right onto Mill Street.  Make a right onto Mill Street and then another right onto McCourtney Road.  Continue down McCourtney Road approximately 8 miles.  Make a left onto Elster Place which is 0.3 miles past Havlan Lane.  If you  reach Windmill Lane, you are 0.2 miles too far.  

Stay afterwards to participate in a Sierra Harvest Farm Potluck, with a Legacy Ranching farm tour at 5:30PM and circling up at 6pm for dinner.
