Are you a rancher or farmer who is wondering how you will be able to retire and pass your knowledge on to the next generation?
Are you a new rancher or farmer who is wondering how you can get started and build on what established ranchers and farmers have accomplished?
The Nevada County Resource Conservation District, in partnership with the Nevada County Farm Bureau and California FarmLink, is hosting a workshop that will help answer these questions and more.  By the end of this workshop you will understand:
•  The basic components of ranch and farm succession planning and how to get started with the first conversation.
•  The key financial risks in retirement planning and how the use of options like financing, leasing, or easements can help.
•  The first few steps in analyzing and valuing your ranch or farm business.
•  The resources and advisors available to help this process along.

Cost is $35 per person (if family members come with you add $10 per person = $45.00, $55.00 etc.)

$25 for Farm Bureau members (if two family members are coming and you are a FB member = $35.00)

Additional $10 for each family member (if three family members are coming and you are a FB member = $45.00)
