Nevada County Resource Conservation District: Pond Maintenance Issues

This seminar will talk about common issues with pond maintenance and management.  Maintenance of a pond is based on the water source and purposes of the pond, whether it is for fishing, wildlife, swimming, aesthetics, or other purposes.  Our speaker, Jason Jackson, a 37-year USDA/NRCS veteran with expertise in basic pond management, will go through the do’s and don’ts of pond maintenance.  Representatives of Nevada Irrigation District (NID) will also be on-hand to help answer all your questions.
