Nevada County Resource Conservation District’s: Nevada County Pollinators!

The next seminar in the Nevada County Resource Conservation District’s Fall 2014 / Spring 2015 Seminar Series will be Nevada County Pollinators

Bonnie Bradt, a UCCE Master Gardener with degrees from U.C. Davis in Zoology and Entomology, will be talking about the many different types of pollinators found here in Nevada County.  Animal pollinators play a crucial role in flowering plant reproduction and in the production of most fruits and vegetables. Most plants require the assistance of pollinators to produce seeds and fruit.  Learn how to protect, enhance, and provide habitat for this keystone species group.
