Peaceful Valley Farm and Garden Supply: Mead Making with Cheyanna Bone

Learn the ancient art of mead making.  Mead is the oldest fermented beverage known to man.  It is known as the “Nectar of the Gods”.  It is the alchemical transformation of honey and water into Honey wine, also known as Mead.  In this introductory workshop, we will cover the steps of how to make a basic sac mead.  As time permits we will explore the many nuances and variations that exist in the art.  We will sample different honeys to get a sense of flavor profiles, discuss fruits and spices and the broader palate of ingredients that they create.

Cheyanna Bone has been making mead for 16+ years.  She first came to the art via folk recipes and has been brewing and perfecting her craft ever since.  She now keeps bees as well.  She is  delighted to share this ancient art and the alchemy and magic it brings with those who are inspired to take the journey into the flavors and aromas with her.
