An intro into how to take the plunge into market gardening and selling your produce for profit. We will cover appropriate technology for making a market garden successful, success stories of small scale farms, and how to start your own dream farm. The basics of tools and techniques to work with the soil will be covered.

About Peter HidalgoPeter Hidalgo is the owner of Son of Something Farm. A diversified market garden farm, practicing Permaculture principles, Biointensive Techniques and a Yoga lifestyle. A native of Nevada County his triple bottom line is to grow quality food in an ecologically sound manner that nourishes the consumer, while caring for the environment and making a living by doing something that matters. He has a Bachelors degree in Social Science from the University of California Chico, a Natural Science degree from Sierra College and a Permaculture Design certificate from Oregon State University.

As class sizes are limited, we ask that people who are registered but are unable to attend, cancel their ticket at as soon as possible.
