Potluck Season Kicks-Off at Fowler Family Farm on May 19
Brad and Alana Fowler are hosting our first potluck of the season on May 19th! Join us on their beautiful 35-acre farm where they pasture-raise beef, chicken, pork, lamb, turkey and more, all hormone and antibiotic free. Brad and Alana grew up in Nevada County and have five daughters (Macey, Molly, Morgan, Wendy and Wyatt -that’s right, all girls) who enjoy helping around the farm. Learn more about the Fowler Family Farm, why they decided to transition from conventional to organic for their own family, and how they use goats and other animals for vegetative management here.
Buy Fresh From the Farm!
The Fowlers will be selling pasture-raised pork (most cuts available, including bacon and cottage bacon), as well as eggs at the potluck. So bring a cooler and a checkbook so you can bring some home!
In addition, the Fowlers are partnering with Elster Ranch and Pharis Pork & Poultry this year to collaborate on their meat CSA and create a new meat buyers club, allowing customers to order individual cuts on a monthly basis. You can find out more about this great opportunity to get clean, pasture raised, local meat direct from our local farmers at the potluck. Also, check out the Fowler’s website for more details.
