Tess Kitchen: Canning and Jamming with Annica Hagadorn

Canning if done properly is a safe and effective way to preserve the season’s harvest. Designed to reinforce safe canning practices, this class is a hands on canning experience intermixed with an interactive discussion on the “why and why not’s” of safe canning.  By the time the class is over you will have canned homemade applesauce and Orange Plum Jam.  You’ll walk away with an answer to the age old question:  “What am I going to do with all those apples and plums!”

The class Cost: $65. The classes are held in Tess’ Kitchen located downstairs at the Tess’ Kitchen Store 115 Mill Street Downtown Grass Valley, CA .
