Winter days seem to call for soup, whether at lunch or supper, a warming bowl of soup is welcome. The French have Leek and Potato Soup, and we have Julia Child’s recipe to offer. Or try our Cream of Celery and Celery Root Soup with home-made crème fraîche. A heart-warming Winter Minestrone with carrots, celery and spinach finishes out our trio, topped with fresh grated Parmesan and olive oil.
