Farm Potlucks: A Community Gathering on Your Farm or Ranch!

Promote your farm and sign up to host a farm potluck on your farm or ranch!

We are starting to plan the 2020 Farm Potluck season. If you want to host, let us know and email TODAY! Farm Potlucks bring an average of 75-100 guests to your farm or ranch to learn about what you have to offer in person.

Sierra Harvest will offer the following for FREE:

Promote the event on our website, enewsletter (more than 4,800 subscribers) and social media.

The day of the event, a Sierra Harvest staff and/or volunteer will arrive at 5pm with signage, and will set up our welcome table and help you set up the potluck tables.  This person will greet guests and have them sign in.  This person will also help gather the guests so you can begin a 30- minute farm tour, starting about 5:40PM.  This is a great way for you to showcase your farm and what you offer to the community.

At 6pm, our staff will help rally the attendees where you will have another opportunity to introduce yourself and your farm to all, and then the eating begins!

We will collect emails from guests and share them with you for you to expand your client base.

What we’ll need from you the day of:

Three 6-foot tables set up for potluck food

Seating area (benches, bales, or just flat ground for people to put down a blanket).

Access to a bathroom for our guests and good parking

Give a 20+ minute farm tour starting at about 5:40pm and speak a few minutes in our pre-dinner circle

We strongly encourage you to have a display table for your farm or ranch, with information about your business and how people can purchase from you.  People like to buy direct at these events, so having anything for sale is terrific (fresh items, value-added, u-pick, whatever works for you!)

Farm Potlucks Calendar

Potlucks are the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 5:30-8PM from June 18th – Oct. 1st, 2020.
