Get your garden started this season with fresh, organic starts from the Food Love Farm! We have vigorous starts of just about anything you’d want to eat – lots of tomato varieties, culinary herbs like parsley and basil, eggplant, peppers, rainbow chard, several types of kale, broccoli, cabbage, head lettuce, cucumbers, melons, summer and winter squash. Did we mention flowers? We also have violas, marigolds, zinnias, nasturtiums, sunflowers, and more to pick from.
This year, you can come to the farm, browse the plants, and pick out what you want to take home! To help provide a safe, pleasant and spacious experience as you browse, the number of people inside the farm at any one time will limited.
Stop by the farm on April 24, May 1 or May 8, from 9am – noon. All sales will be outside, but please be sure to wear a mask. For payment, please bring cash, check, or EBT card. We cannot accept credit cards.
The Food Love Farm is located at the Burton Homestead, 16200 Lake Vera Purdon Rd., in Nevada City. All proceeds go to support farm to school education in our local community.
