As 2012 comes to a close, we want to take this time to give a deep, heartfelt thank you to all of the community members, individuals. schools and organizations that have made this past year so profound for Live Healthy Nevada County.
Nevada County School’s participation in Farm Education has had huge growth, we are on the road to many exciting new advances in our school lunch programs and even more schools have taken part of the garden cart projects!
These successes would not be possible without the planning, organization, cooperation and vision that so many of us share and hold dear.
We are looking forward to 2013 and applying what we have learned towards even more projects, plantings and making delicious, fresh food available to all children in our county!
